Ye film Sudhakar Mikkilneni, Kosaraju Harikrishna, aur Nandamuri Kalyan Ram ne Yuvasudha Arts aur N. T. R. Arts ke banners ke neeche produce ki hai. Is film mein N. T. Rama Rao Jr. lead role mein hai, aur unke saath Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor (jo apni Telugu debut kar rahi hain), Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko aur Narain bhi dikhai denge.

Is film ki official announcement April 2021 mein hui thi, tab ise ek standalone film ke roop mein present kiya gaya tha, aur iska tentative title NTR30 rakha gaya, kyunki ye Rama Rao ki 30th film hai as a lead actor. Official title May 2023 mein announce kiya gaya, lekin October 2023 mein yeh reveal hua ki film do parts mein release hogi. Iski principal photography April 2023 se lekar August 2024 tak chalti rahi, jisme Hyderabad, Shamshabad, Visakhapatnam, Goa, aur Thailand jaise locations mein shooting hui. Film ka music Anirudh Ravichander ne compose kiya hai, cinematography R. Rathnavelu ne handle kiya hai, aur editing A. Sreekar Prasad ne ki hai.
Devara: Part 1 ka theatrical release 27 September 2024 ko schedule hai.
Plot
Yeh ek epic action saga hai jo coastal lands ke against set ki gayi hai. Film mein emotional aur thrilling incidents ko dikhaya gaya hai jo ek periodical timeline ke through unfold hote hain. Isme titular protagonist deprived logon ke liye rescuer ban jata hai, aur evildoers ke liye dar ka naam.

Development: February 2020 mein N. T. Rama Rao Jr. aur Trivikram Srinivas ka collaboration news mein aaya tha, lekin yeh project finally execute nahi ho paya. April 2021 mein NTR30 announce hui, jo Koratala Siva ke saath unki dusri collaboration hai Janatha Garage ke baad. Ugadi par (13 April 2021) film ka announcement hua, aur Siva ne ise apni pehli film Mirchi se zyada commercial appeal wali bataya. Box-office par Acharya ki failure ke baad, Siva ne script ko fine-tune karne ka faisla kiya.
Casting: Is film mein Janhvi Kapoor apna Telugu debut kar rahi hain. Pehle Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur aur Rashmika Mandanna ko female lead ke liye consider kiya gaya tha, lekin finally Janhvi ko cast kiya gaya. February 2023 mein Saif Ali Khan ko antagonist role ke liye finalize kiya gaya.
Filming: Principal photography 1 April 2023 ko Hyderabad mein start hui thi. Is film ke liye kaafi different locations ka use kiya gaya, jisme underwater action sequence aur beach set par special sequences shoot kiye gaye. August 2024 tak film ka 80% shooting complete ho chuka tha.
Post-production: Film ke visual effects ka kaam Kalyan Ram ki visual effects company, Advaitha Creative Works ne handle kiya hai. VFX ka extensive use kiya gaya hai, aur post-production kaam July 2024 mein start hua.
Music: Is film ka soundtrack album aur background score Anirudh Ravichander ne compose kiya hai. Pehla single “Fear Song” 19 May 2024 ko release hua, aur doosra single “Chuttamalle” 5 August 2024 ko release hua.
